Meaningful activity,
with BetterSpace

Time spent on things we enjoy improves all aspects of our lives.

Encouraging meaningful activity

Meaningful activity is seen as physical, social and leisure activities tailored to a person’s individual preferences. This would include things like music, art, crafts, and other constructive uses of free time.

While connected to other pillars, for example exercise, a lack of meaningful activity has its own impact on our wellbeing. Disconnected from the things we enjoy, we become more stressed and are more likely to displace time unhealthily.

Busy minds need stimulation beyond the expectations of employment. Given the time and opportunity for meaningful activity, time spent at work becomes more productive and overall mental health is improved.
