BetterSpace is hiring a Marketing Manager as we scale up and establish BetterSpace as the dominant wellbeing platform for our target sectors. The right person will be an experienced outbound marketeer, a good team player and be motivated by our mission to turn the tide on mental illness.

What’s different about BetterSpace?

BetterSpace just closed a £2m VC-backed funding round as we move into the scale-up phase and expand our Go To Market team. Since launching in February we’ve won 16 clients, including Accenture and Linklaters, and we are set on becoming the dominant solution for professional services and finance firms.

BetterSpace is different from other wellbeing benefit providers. Our job is to identify the best wellbeing benefits, and make it easy for each employee to find what is right for them. We achieve 90% engagement rates, compared to 5% when employers procure resources directly. We draw on the same efficiencies as other online marketplaces, such as Netflix and Spotify etc.

We are campaigning to end “One Size Fits All” wellbeing, which results in two-thirds of wellbeing spend being wasted and insufficient choice for employees. We are establishing a new category of Personalised Choice, where the employer only pays for what is used and gives employees far greater choice. We’re positioning BetterSpace as the natural leader of this new category.

What is different about how we work?

One of our employees recently described working at BetterSpace as being like having therapy. We work hard to create a psychologically safe environment where people can bring their whole selves to work, and we celebrate teamwork and diversity. All employees have four hours a week and £50 a month on the BetterSpace platform to invest in their wellbeing.

What outcomes are we looking for?

As a key member of an integrated revenue team we’re expecting you to deliver;

An Account Based Marketing strategy that supports the outbound activities of our AEs and BDRs in our target sectors

A clear Point of View for the business, which is reflected in all collateral, from the website to personalised emails

A successful events programme, from designing our own events to maximising lead generation from third party events.

High quality creative content that educates the market on our Point of View and assists with conversion rates.

What skills does this role require?

A successful track record in marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS and outbound lead generation and using growth marketing tools

A collaborative mindset to work side by side with the AEs, BDRs, partners and clients

Highly focused and client centric approach to marketing

Knowledge of the latest developments in demand generation marketing, and creating KPIs and funnel metrics that prioritise quality over quantity

Experience in the development of focused creative campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, content syndication, SEM, and paid digital

Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down

Experience of running and owning a website which acts as a window for our target sectors and assists the sales team.
